Recent Work Undertaken:
Exchange Migration:
Here the customer needed to migrate an exchange 2000 platform onto exchange 2003. Valusys carried out an on-site assessment of the company’s existing hardware.
Having examined the requirements of the customer, Valusys made a number of recommendations about how best to deploy the latest exchange technology using up-to-the-minute hardware as the assessment showed the existing hardware to be obsolete. After an agreement was reached about the hardware required, we provided a project-plan and calendar co-ordinated with the company’s needs.
Consolidation of Security Services:
Valusys was approached by a client that sought after consolidating their anti-spam, anti-virus and firewall into one easy, manageable region. Our client asked for our professional advice of if there was such a product available on the market. We were able to recommend the solution of using a device called ‘a Unified Threat Management’ (UTM). Valusys explained in detail and demonstrated the workings of the product and subsequently installed, configured and provided training on the management of the device to our client.
