Recent Work Undertaken:

SAN Installation:
Valusys were approached by a UK Hospital with the requirement of upgrading and replacing their existing SAN. We recommended equipment that met the customer’s needs and subsequently supplied, installed and configured the company’s SAN infrastructure, which was completed in good time, out of working hours so that there would be no disturbance to existing files. We were on hand to support the customer during this period and have continued to do so

Hardware set up for SAP:
A large company contacted Valusys desiring three servers and a SAN to support the installation of SAP. The customer already had the hardware requirement from SAP, but Valusys was able to supply, install and configure the necessary equipment to support the installation of SAP.

Exchange Migration:
Here the customer needed to migrate an exchange 2000 platform onto exchange 2003. Valusys carried out an on-site assessment of the company’s existing hardware.
Having examined the requirements of the customer, Valusys made a number of recommendations about how best to deploy the latest exchange technology using up-to-the-minute hardware as the assessment showed the existing hardware to be obsolete. After an agreement was reached about the hardware required, we provided a project-plan and calendar co-ordinated with the company’s needs.

Consolidation of Security Services:
Valusys was approached by a client that sought after consolidating their anti-spam, anti-virus and firewall into one easy, manageable region. Our client asked for our professional advice of if there was such a product available on the market. We were able to recommend the solution of using a device called ‘a Unified Threat Management’ (UTM). Valusys explained in detail and demonstrated the workings of the product and subsequently installed, configured and provided training on the management of the device to our client.
