“I was looking for local, talented golfers to provide assistance too and when Ben made an impressive run over six rounds at the gruelling European Tour School in 2008, for me he was the obvious choice. After contacting Ben we found out just how good he was, having represented England on numerous occasions as well as winning many Amateur titles including the Faldo Series (‘06/07) and the 2007 Nations cup. Valusys was more than happy to be one of the first businesses to join him as he embarked on his professional career in 2008. We are extremely proud to support Ben and look forward to cultivating a strong partnership for many years to come as he grows to become one of Europe’s most successful golfers.” Mark Perring, Director, Valusys Limited. The highlight of his Amateur career was winning the Faldo Series International Trophy in 2005 and retaining the UK Faldo trophy in 2006 and 2007 beating the likes of Rory McIlroy and Oliver Fisher on the way. Since turning professional in 2008 Ben almost made a dream start when an invitation to the Madeira Island Open landed him a Top 10 finish and his first big cheque. Having spent a couple of seasons on the Challenge Tour Ben is now looking to make an impact in 2011 as he looks to secure his main European Tour card for next season. The signs are already looking good with a Top 15 result at the Joberg Open in January 2011.
